MARCH 20, 2021
TO ALL PARTIES INTERESTED IN THE 2021 WILLYS JEEP RALLY
First of all, we wish to apologize for the delay in informing our loyal followers as to the plans for the 2021 Willys Jeep Rally. After the turmoil of 2020, we were hesitant to finalize the event details, but Hueston Woods Lodge has been very patient with us. In the spirit of Jeep enthusiasts' positive attitudes, we are going forward with The Willys Jeep Rally on June 4 and 5, 2021 at our long-time venue, Hueston Woods State Lodge.
We did not send out pre-registration forms this year because of the uncertainty and changeability of the Covid 19 Guidelines. All registrations for the event will be made on site at the time of arrival. We ask that you be patient with us because this may take longer than usual. Please keep in mind that payment for fees must be made by cash or check at the time of registration.
All events will be fluid and will reflect the guidelines, if any, in effect at the time. We will definitely have the field demonstrations, the Jeep display and vendor area. Other activities will occur as the situation permits at the time.
The Lodge has agreed to work with us on the matter of the banquet. We ask that if you wish to attend a banquet on Saturday evening that you send us an email with your names and numbers for the banquet. Depending on the response, we will decide sometime in April whether to go forward with confirming the dining room and food for the banquet. If the numbers don't support having a banquet, we will try to arrange some other get-together for Saturday evening. So please give us your feedback on the banquet now.
We appreciate all those who have made reservations with the Lodge already. If you need reservations, please make them soon as there are a limited number of rooms still available at our special rate. The Lodge's phone number is 1-888-711-4725.
Thank you for your loyalty and support.

NOVEMBER 13, 2020 TO ALL THOSE INVOLVED WITH THE WILLYS JEEP RALLY: We are deeply saddened to report that our mentor and sponsor, John Ittel, passed away on November 10, 2020 as a result of cancer. He waged a tough battle against the disease for some time. You may view John's Obituary at: https://www.paulyoungfuneralhome.com/obituary/John-Ittel We have made a donation for a grove of three memorial trees to be planted by the American Forest Fund in honor of John. It is hard to imagine The Willys Jeep Rally without John Ittel, but we will be in communication with his family to discuss their wishes and plans. For now, keep John's family in your prayers in this difficult time, and we will announce all developments. THE STAFF OF THE WILLYS JEEP RALLY rickieriley@att.net 513-423-8724
TO ALL PARTIES INTERESTED IN THE 2020 WILLYS JEEP RALLY:
Due to circumstances beyond our control due to the coronavirus and gathering restrictions, we are put in the position of having to cancel The Willys Jeep Rally, which was scheduled for May 29 and 30, 2020. We do not know what restrictions will be in effect at that time. We would be unable to host the quality event we have offered in the past years.
We have been in contact with Hueston Woods Lodge and have set tentative dates of June 4 and 5, 2021 for next year's event. As we all know, this is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. We will keep you posted by email, Facebook and our website as to new developments as they occur.
Of course, all payments received for the 2020 show will be refunded in full. If you do not receive your refund by the end of April, please contact Barb Marshal at Registration.thewillysjeeprally@yahoo.com
We thank you for your past and ongoing support of The Willys Jeep Rally. We wish you and your families the best of health and future success in your endeavors.
We have confirmed our guest speaker for WJR 2020: Barry Thomas Presents Farm Jeep Movie – Take 2: A long-lost 1948 film is one of the first infomercials, providing detailed instructions on how to use the Willys Jeep on the farm. We will take a fun look at the movie and the story behind its making. We will also view other Willys commercials which were used to introduce the amazing Jeep to the buying public.

Our banquet will be held in a beautiful 40' glass-fronted room that overlooks the gorgeous lake and showfield. The menu will feature dishes to please most tastes. If someone has special dietary needs and we are notified beforehand, we will make every effort to comply with those needs.
Our guest speaker is TBO. Also, John Ittle will be giving demonstrations of Jeeps working on his property throughout the show, and participants are urged to take part in the demonstrations with their own vehicles, if they wish.
